The best-rated guide to Seville

Seville, The Jewel of Andalusia is more than 90 pages on what to see, where to eat, what deserves your time and what does not, and the trips worth taking out of the city. Not a list of everything: the advice a sevillano gives the friends who come to visit him.

Why this one is different

Written by someone who lives here

Most guides to Seville are written by people who spent a weekend in it. This one is written by a sevillano who was born in the city and still lives in it, and it reads like it.

Eduardo has travelled enough to know what a good guide is worth when you land somewhere for the first time, so he wrote the one he would want for his own trips: the practical things to sort out before you arrive, the sights, the food, the flamenco and the trips out of the city. Essential information, insider tips, and the things you only learn by living somewhere.

“Very well structured comprehensive guide by a local. Very helpful descriptions and tips.”Giuseppe M.

Eduardo Ballesteros, author of the Seville travel guide

Who wrote it

Eduardo Ballesteros lives in Seville and runs sevillaqr from here. He wrote the guide himself, over 90 pages, because the advice travellers kept asking him for did not fit in an email. It is not a compilation of listings: it is what he would tell a friend coming to visit his city.

Questions about the guide

How do I get the guide?

If you have booked any activity with us, fill in the form on this page with your booking number and it is yours, free. If you have not booked with us, you can buy it on its own.

Do I have to wait until I travel?

No. The guide is yours the moment you book, which is rather the point: it is written to be read before you come, while you are still deciding what to do with your days.

What format is it in?

A PDF. It opens on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, it works with no signal once downloaded, and it prints if you would rather carry paper.

What language is it in?

English, Spanish, French and Italian. You choose which one you download.

How long does it take to arrive?

It does not. The download appears on screen the moment you send the form, and the same link goes to your email as a copy.

I cannot find my booking number

It is in the confirmation email you received when you booked. If it is not in your inbox, have a look in the spam folder, and if it still does not turn up, write to us and we will find it for you.

Is it updated?

Yes, and the link you receive always points to the current version, so keep the email and you keep the updates.
